TAG Heuer announced that it has appointed two patrols for 2016: for the first time, a Chinese patrol will take part, coming specially from Shanghai for this event. they will be trained under the leadership of Florent Troillet in the resort of Verbier, the freeriding Mecca and home of the 2015 World Ski Mountaineering Championships, which has offered to host them for their week of preparation before the race.

The upper circle reveals a lotus flower under a sapphire crystal dome. Representing serenity and poetry, and sacred to many Asian cultures, the flower has been crafted with the utmost care. As a mysterious bud or fully opened jewel-like bloom, this animation is not simply a pure vision of naturalistic and poetic beauty. By pressing a push-button the lotus flower opens, revealing its diamond heart.
